Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland, Kansas, has announced the names of full-time students who earned spots on the President’s and Dean’s honor lists for the 2023 spring semester.

Students on the President’s Honor List earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average while students on the Dean’s Honor List earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99.

I’m so pleased to be able to announce the Kiowa County Economic Development Foundation award of Business of the Year. This business was founded by an Eads High School graduate and his wife.  This is a story of what we ideally hope for when we raise our children in our hometown; that they go off for a bit to get a better understanding of the world, get some education and training and experience and then bring it back home for the betterment of the place where it all started.  

The Regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on May 11, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Donald Oswald. Commissioner Robertson opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.
