WHEREAS a general municipal election is scheduled for April 7, 2026, and

NOTICE OF HEARING

AS TO SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given that a meeting will be held on March 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the 

City Hall in Eads, Colorado to consider a Resolution for Supplemental Budget and Appropriation for the Town of Eads for the year of 2026. Unappropriated funds have 

allowed for additional unforeseen expenses in the General Fund as follows:

Theater Capital Improvements $40,000

Applications are currently being accepted by the City of Lamar for appointments to the following Boards:

AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD

(One expired 5-year term expiring February 1, 2031)

LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD

(One expired 5-year term expiring February 1, 2031)

PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD

(Two expired 3-year terms expiring February 1, 2029)

PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION

(One expired 5-year term expiring February 1, 2031)

NOTICE FROM THE KIOWA COUNTY ASSESSOR’S OFFICE

Unless you receive further notification by May 1, 2026

the valuation of your property will remain the same value as it was in 2025

REAL PROPERTY APPEAL PROCEDURES:

To preserve your right to appeal the 2026 assessment, you may appeal beginning May 1, 2026.  You must appear in the Kiowa County Assessors’ Office or mail your appeal no later than June 8, 2026
