Colorado’s county clerks want some leeway when it comes to providing early-voting locations during general elections because of costs, the turnout and the difficulty in securing locations and judges.
A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who helped make my 90th birthday card shower a memory that will last and bring many wonderful thoughts and memories a life time gift.
What a privilege to live in such a great community.

There are family and friends with a lot of “cares” this week since we have lost four dear citizens from our community over the last week.

After more than a day of ice and snow, the National Weather Service converted a winter storm warning in Kiowa County to a winter weather advisory, which was then cancelled Monday morning.
A layer of ice accumulated Saturday night into Sunday as freezing rain fell in the area. Rain continued periodically until later in the afternoon before temperatures dropped and a layer of snow was added on top of the ice.
