Letter to the Editor – Supreme Court should revisit Obergefell decision
In a well-deserved defeat for the left-wing bigots who actually believe it's okay to discriminate against, legally persecute, and make criminals out of decent, moral businesspeople (e.g., Christian bakers, photographers, etc.) who merely don't want to cater to heterophobic homosexuals, the U.S. Supreme Court recently decided 6-3 to outlaw that outrageous discrimination (303 Creative LLC v. Elenis). It's high time that judgmental, intolerant, extremist left-wing bigots were put in their place.

The 4th of July was one of the few holidays celebrated across the country in the 1840s.
Four quick tips to care for your pets on July 4
Most dogs and cats have exceptional hearing. Suddenly comes all the noise and flashes and excitement, and they have no idea what all of this is about creating fear and anxiety.
- Find a quiet, sheltered area that can be a safe space for your pet. This can be a bathroom, closet or even basement.
- Introduce your pet to this place beforehand by placing their favorite toys or blanket in the area.
- Putting a blanket on their kennel will help muffle the sounds.
- Turning on a radio with music or even a fan will aid in diffusion the noise.
