Bobbie L. Stogsdill
October 17, 1940 - November 2, 2019
Bobbie Stogsdill born to Robert and Ruth Naugle October 17, 1940, in Dalhart, Texas, and was the oldest of five siblings. The family moved south of Karval, Colorado, in 1952.
Bobbie attended school in Sugar City, then attended Karval High School, graduating in 1959.
After graduation, she married Carl Stogsdill. They have four children Tami Stogsdill Green, Bart Stogsdill, Ty Stogsdill and Christy Stogsdill Adams.
Speeds during a chase which began in Kiowa County reached 133 miles per hour along Highway 287.

The theme of the October 26 Lutheran Women's Missionary League Rally was "Thanksgiving," which was used in the devotions, decorations, and songs.
The rally was directed by President Tracey Weeks, with ladies attending from Burlington, Cheyenne Wells, Lamar, Eads, and Kit Carson.
March 11, 1960 - October 7, 2019
Lyle States was born March 11, 1960, in Eads to Donald and Betty Jean States. He passed away October 7, 2019, in Colorado Springs following a brief illness.
When he was born, the family lived five miles north of Holly. In 1967 the family moved to the Koen farm west of Lamar. Lyle attended Wiley School from 1967 to his graduation in May of 1978. During this time Lyle was an active part of the family's farming operation.
All games will be held in the New Gym in Cheyenne Wells.
Weskan and Cheyenne Wells will be the designated home teams Monday and will wear white. The Losers of games 1 & 2, and the winners of games 3 & 4 will be the designated home team Tuesday and wear white.
Leland R. Stoker
May 30, 1937 - 2019
Leland Ray Stoker was born to Raymond and Ethel Stoker May 30, 1937, in Las Animas and raised in Haswell. Leland had two brothers and two sisters.
He met his wife of 57 years after a basketball game in 1958, and in August of 1959 they were married. Leland and Donna had three children, Mark, Aaron, and Cindy.

With the construction of our new school, parking for games is a bit interesting.
For football parking, please fans, drive as far north as you can on Park Street and then turn east (right) to be able to park on the east side of the football field. Please do not drive through the private property north of the driveway.
There will be some parking on the west side of the school and in front. Street parking is suggested if the football field parking and school parking is full.
