Attention hunters! The draw results for 2018 Colorado Sheep and Goat Hunting have been posted. Hunters who have applied for a license should receive a notification in their email inboxes Friday. Applicants who do not see an email can log into their Colorado Parks and Wildlife account at https://www.cpwshop.com and check for updated information.
Changes to the process
CPW transitioned to an integrated licensing, pass and reservation system in January 2018. This meant that license fees were no longer required at the time of application. Instead of paying the license fee up front as in the past, applicants only paid the $3 application processing fee, per species.
It is important that applicants' credit card information on file is up to date. If an applicant draws a license and the credit card is declined, they can lose accumulated preference points if payment for the license is not received by May 18.
Applicants who receive notification that they have a failed credit card payment can stop by a CPW office or pay over the phone by calling 1-800-244-5613. Applicants can also log into their online account and update information.
Once the transaction is successful, applicants will receive their license in the mail.
