Regular Council Meeting

September 10, 2024

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Joe Shields at 5:00 P.M.

Roll call was taken by Robin Fox. Those council members present are Tuck Liebl, Stephanie Sewell, Dennis Pearson, Kathy MCracaken and Mayor Joe Shields, Fred Derby absent. Mikahael Rogers, assistant Town Clerk, was present. Van Brown, Director of Public Works, and Trent Rittgers are in attendance.

MINUTES

August minutes, Stephanie Sewell, made a motion to approve the August minutes that were presented. Dennis Pearson seconded the motion. All Aye

APPROVAL OF BILLS

A motion was made by Kathy McCracken to approve the bills from August and seconded by Tuck Liebl. All Aye. 

OLD BUSINESS

Roger Saffer has not made the corrections yet to his lease that was presented a few months ago.

Pool- The town still needs donations and commitment letters from individuals on what they will donate for the swimming pool. Lisa is working on another grant for the pool at this time. 

NEW BUSINESS

Resolution 232 was presented for the grant for the pool. Dennis Pearson made a motion to approve the resolution, Kathy McCracken seconded the motion, all Aye. Motion passed

We will advertise again for a new board member.

At 5:45 P.M. Tuck made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Fred Derby seconded the motion. All Aye.
