The Colorado Conservation Tillage Association will return to Burlington, Colorado, on Feb. 3 and 4, 2026, to host the 38th Annual High Plains No-Till Conference at the Burlington Community & Education Center. The event attracts more than 400 attendees each year and is recognized as a premier gathering for farmers, ranchers, students, and agricultural professionals focused on soil health and conservation in the High Plains.

This year’s conference will open with keynote speaker John Kempf, host of the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast and founder of Advancing Eco Agriculture. Kempf will also lead a full-day pre-conference workshop on Feb. 2, covering principles of regenerative nutrition management.

Joining Kempf in the keynote lineup will be Erin Martin, president of the Tulsa Urban Ag Coalition and a well-known regenerative soil advocate, and Don Day Jr., the President and chief meteorologist at Day Weather, Inc.

Conference attendees will have access to more than 40 breakout sessions led by producers, industry experts, and university personnel. Topics will range from no-till practices and regenerative grazing to ag technology, farm business management, composting, markets, and research projects. Certified Crop Adviser credits are also approved for each breakout session, including in the categories of nutrient management, crop management, soil and water management, professional development, and sustainability.

“The conference aims to provide practical knowledge, networking opportunities, and resources for agricultural producers,” said CCTA Coordinator Joni Mitchek. “And the emphasis is on providing those benefits in a way that is relevant in a dry, arid environment.”

CCTA partners with more than 80 organizations and businesses from across the High Plains to support the conference each year. Many of these sponsors are slated to participate in the event trade show and annual Beer & Bull Social on Feb. 3.

Conference registration and a full event schedule are available online at www.HighPlainsNoTill.com, with discounted pricing available for students. Registration covers all sessions, the trade show, lunches, snacks, and social events. Walk-ins are also welcome.
