The Colorado Conservation Tillage Association has announced that the 37th Annual High Plains No-Till Conference will be held in Burlington February 4-5, 2025, with Allen Williams, Roy Pfaltzgraff, and Don Day Jr. serving as keynote speakers.

Williams, a 6th generation family farmer and founding partner of Understanding Ag, LLC, the Soil Health Academy, and Regenified, LLC, will headline the event by exploring the advantages of transitioning farms and ranches to a regenerative approach. He will also discuss the practical application of key regenerative principles based on his experience consulting with thousands of producers in the United States and more than 45 other countries. Williams is a world-renowned speaker and has been frequently featured in national media, including the Carbon Nation film series, the Dr. Oz show, ABC Food Forecast News, and the Farmer’s Footprint film series.

Pfaltzgraff will also take the keynote stage for CCTA in February. Hailing from Haxtun, Colorado, Pfaltzgraff utilizes both conventional and nonconventional methods for regenerative agriculture. His family farm focuses primarily on soil health and has reduced commercial inputs, created a diverse cropping rotation, increased organic matter, and started direct marketing several of the farm’s products. Pfaltzgraff has also been featured in both regional and national publications, including The Furrow, DTN Progressive Farmer, Denver Business Journal, Edible Denver, and the Farm Journal.

Returning by popular demand, the final keynote speaker for the High Plains No-Till Conference will be President and Chief Meteorologist of Day Weather, Inc., Don Day Jr. For over 25 years, Day has provided customized broadcast weather services to over 70 radio stations across Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska. For this event, he will contribute his expertise in long-range and seasonal weather forecasting as it relates to agricultural producers in the High Plains region.

Additionally, the two-day conference will showcase more than 40 breakout sessions presented by producers and industry experts on topics such as composting, grazing, specialty crops, soil health economics, and more. A trade show, outdoor equipment display, Beer & Bull Social, and FFA Day will also be included for the event.
