For the second year, members of the Northeast Colorado Manufacturing Partnership are organizing a day of speakers and breakout sessions to help manufacturers build their businesses.

The Northeast Colorado Manufacturing Expo has been set for June 29 at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling. The day will feature keynote speakers Rollie Heath, a former Colorado legislator, along with Sergio Sanchez, Plant Manager at Yuma-based Agri-Inject, which is innovating in the area of precision-ag technologies.

Breakout sessions are set to discuss strengthening the workforce, developing talent, enhancing shop safety records, and other learning opportunities selected to meet immediate goals and long-term priorities for any manufacturing company.

A representative from the United States Patent and Trademark Office will be on hand to talk about the patent system.

The expo will be held June 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the ES French Hall on the Northeastern Junior College campus in Sterling. The campus is located at 100 College Avenue.

Registration is offered online at northeastcoloradomanufacturers.com/2018-expo. Sponsor and vendor opportunities are available.
