Board of Trustees for Adams State University

Colorado State Historic Preservation Review Board

The Historic Preservation State Review Board approves national register nominations.  The Board also reviews the State Historic Preservation Officer's recommendations for national landmarks and provides general advice, guidance and professional recommendations to the State Historic Preservation Officer in carrying out the duties and responsibilities authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act.

Colorado State Fair Authority Board of Commissioners

The Colorado State Fair Authority Board of Commissioners is a corporate body, a political subdivision of the state. The Board directs and supervises the Colorado State Fair and Industrial Exposition.  The Fair is held annually at Pueblo for the display of livestock and agricultural, horticultural, industrial, mining, recreational, educational and scientific products of the State of Colorado.

for terms expiring November 1, 2024:

  • Erin Michalski of Breckenridge, Colorado, an Unaffiliated from the Western Slope and the Second Congressional District, and a member with substantial experience in agriculture or in the activities of 4-H clubs, appointed; 
  • Nicole Weathers of Yuma, Colorado, a Republican from the Fourth Congressional District, and a member with substantial experience in agriculture or in the activities of 4-H clubs, appointed.

Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors

The Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors sets and administers policies regarding expenditures from the Colorado Travel and Tourism Fund created in 24-49.7-106 for promoting travel and tourism and related activities that benefit the state.

for a term expiring June 1, 2022:

  • Alexander John Boian of Erie, Colorado, to serve as an at-large member from tourism based industries, and occasioned by the resignation of Kieran Cain of Lafayette, Colorado, appointed.

Juvenile Parole Board

The Colorado Juvenile Parole Board, one of six in the country, grants, denies, modifies, suspends or revokes parole for juvenile delinquents committed to the Department of Human Services.

for a term expiring November 15, 2022:

  • Jared Steven Prochnow of Fruita, Colorado, to serve as a member of the public at-large, and occasioned by the resignation of Michael Anthony Rodriguez of Aurora, Colorado, appointed.

Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors

The Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors promulgates rules and regulations pertaining to the operation and administration of the Colorado Pinnacol Assurance Fund. 

effective January 1, 2021 for a term expiring January 1, 2024:

  • Akasha Absher of Denver, Colorado, to serve as an employer whose liability is insured by Pinnacol, occasioned by the resignation of Fiona Elizabeth Arnold of Denver, Colorado, appointed;

effective January 1, 2021 for terms expiring January 1, 2026:

  • Barbara Mellman Davis of Denver, Colorado, to serve as the representative with experience in finance or investments, but not an employer whose liability insurance is insured by Pinnacol, reappointed;

Transportation Commission

The Transportation Commission formulates general policy for the Colorado Department of Transportation with respect to the management, construction and maintenance of public highways and other transportation systems in the state.  The Commission also works to assure that the preservation and enhancement of Colorado’s environment, safety, mobility and economics is considered in the planning of all transportation projects.

for a term expiring July 1, 2023:

  • Elizabeth Hickey, JD of Colorado Springs, Colorado, to serve as a commissioner from the Ninth Transportation District, and occasioned by the resignation of Irving Halter of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed.

Urban Drainage and Flood Control Districts

The Urban Drainage and Flood Control Districts Board of Directors assists local governments in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of multi-jurisdictional drainage and flood control projects. Four members of the 23-member board are mayors from Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder and Jefferson counties.
