  • Letter to the Editor- Eva M. Amyx: Eads Post Office. The following is true to the best of my knowledge. They never sent back any mail that could possibly be delivered to the right party. Never ordered anyone out of the post office. Never spoke harsh word to our children that came into the post office.
  • Under new law signed by President Reagan: appointment to Federal jobs will be denied to men who have not registered with Selective Service.
  • John Hollandsworth, 13 years old and a 7th grade student at Eads, bowled a 226 at Eads Lanes. He received an award for bowling 100 above his average, and a 225 patch.

  • Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Yost moved to Towner to take over the management of the Clyde Crow Grocery.
