Kiowa County Hospital District in Eads is pleased to welcome Abby Huff, PA-C, to its medical staff.

Huff will provide primary healthcare to patients at Eads Medical Clinic.

“We are thrilled to add Abby to our growing provider team,” says Angela Linden, healthcare consultant. “Abby’s addition to the staff means more access to healthcare services for area residents. We look forward to her relocating to Eads to serve patients in Kiowa County.”

Huff attended Western Kentucky University, where she earned a B.S. in biology. She received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky and is an NCCPA certified physician assistant. Huff completed clinic rotations in pediatrics, emergency medicine, women’s health, internal medicine, geriatrics, trauma surgery, psychiatry, and family medicine. Rotation sites included Lexington Women’s Healthcare, Licking Valley Internal Medicine, Denham Medical Clinic, Gill Heart Institute and University of Kentucky Blue Surgery.

She also spent a month as a medical volunteer in Nicaragua. Most recently, Huff has served as the vaccination team lead for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Huff joins Morgan King, PA-C, at the clinic, which offers comprehensive medical services for families in Kiowa County. The team diagnoses and treats a wide range of illnesses, injuries and conditions as well as performs checkups on patients of all ages.

“Abby is going to be a great addition to our team and an excellent provider for our community. I can’t wait to have her on board,” says King, who joined the Eads Medical Clinic this fall.

Huff will start at the clinic in mid-January.

“We are lucky to have such a talented team of providers at the clinic,” says Craig Kerfoot, board chair. “Abby’s high level of training and education, combined with her dedication to providing compassionate quality of care for patients in all stages of life, make her an excellent choice for our patients.”

Eads Medical Clinic is open 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00
