Due to the incoming winter storm and expected blizzard conditions, Kiowa County School District RE-1, with schools serving western Kiowa County including Haswell and Eads, has cancelled classes for Monday.

Parents and caretakers were notified of the closure by email Sunday night.

Plainview School, which serves eastern Kiowa County including Towner, Sheridan Lake, and Brandon, is on winter break through Monday, with classes set to resume January 9.
