Second Earthquake of the Day for Colorado Area

The United States Geologic Survey recorded a magnitude 3.1 quake six miles east of Greeley shortly before 10:00 a.m. Sunday. The earthquake was centered within one-half mile of the town of Kersey in Weld County
Coincidentally, a 3.1 earthquake was also recorded just south of the Colorado-New Mexico border late Saturday. Both were about three miles below the surface.
No damage reports have been received for either quake.
