Good readers, for your information, I am a staunch supporter of “Make America Great Again” (MAGA). No debating is necessary, evaluate the conditions in 2019 to the conditions in 2023, especially, the respect for constitutional rights, rule of law, flow of illegal aliens and awful mandates of the political elite.

When I was working off continent, the dream of prospective immigrants was by going to the United States they were offered an opportunity to become prosperous without government interference. These immigrants were vetted before getting a visa. Those who got a visa did prosper and contributed to their respective communities. Since 2009, migrants have been illegally entering this country without being vetted and are given taxpayer funded benefits without working.

Since 1862, the children rhyme “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” was used by parents and teachers to help children realize that you do not get upset because some people say mean things to you and help them to develop self-discipline and fortitude to mitigate the effects of verbal abuse. Before the advent of digital means of communication, you had the opportunity to face those conveyors of the mean words, now, the overwhelming use of social media can prevent a faceoff with the abusers. These three quotes will help to inoculate one against internal distress that may be caused by social media. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” - Eleanor Roosevelt. “You are response-able" - Steven Covey, an educator and author. You can choose your response and how you feel. “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.” - Rollo May, a behavioral psychologist.

It is exhilarating to learn that a “Letter to the Editor” is a response to your column, that letter means that your column is being read. The letter was responding to my declaration that the Woke/Cancel Culture is dedicated to the assassination of the United States. The writer of the letter demonstrated a liberal bias by using terms which indicated very little research to back up the assertions of “old elephant lie” and “the GOP is textbook mafia.” The sad thing is that the writer believes in the liberal pablum. The reference to the definition of Woke came from Wikipedia, a left leaning free online encyclopedia but is a good starting point for research, one must peruse the list at the end of the article of 6-See also, 78-references and 10-suggested further readings to get a firmer knowledge.
