Members of the Hospital Auxiliary meet for lunch at JJ’s Restaurant for the February monthly business and lunch meeting. 

At the meeting, a thank you card was read from Barbara Diel, a former member.

It was reported that we have received additional donations from Marilyn Gentz, Darrel “D” Foxworthy, and for the Renee Woods Memorial. Renee’s gold plate has been placed in the glass entryway display window. To remind people what that means is that when a $100 or more is given to the Auxiliary in the name of a person, we have a gold /black plate engraved for the entry way display. 

The Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary members appreciate these donations that help us carry on our service to work and to help purchase needed items for the Extended Care Unit and Hospital. 

Some of the items we have purchased or shared the cost of in the past include paint, wall paper borders, the treat cart, special chairs, live plants for the patio pots, the vegetable plant boxes, audio devices, gifts, and other gifts for the facility.

We welcome potential members to come to lunch with us and ask questions. 

The dues for an active member are $5. For an inactive member, who isn’t able to be at meetings but wants to help support the hospital facility and staff, the dues are $10. 

Our only fundraiser is the fall Bazaar, which was organized over 35 years ago by some office staff and Linda Trosper. We are so blessed that Linda still can and does carry on the organization of the Fall Holiday Bazaar.

The next meeting is Tuesday, March 10, at 11:00 a.m. at JJ’s Restaurant’s meeting room. We welcome people to come to get involved!
