Kiowa County Commissioners meeting minutes - September 30, 2021

The regular meeting of the Kiowa County Commissioners was called to order on September 30, 2021; at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Donald Oswald. Robertson opened the meeting with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Those in attendance: 

  • Donald Oswald, Chairman
  • Howard "Butch" Robertson, Commissioner
  • Mike Lening, Commissioner
  • Delisa Weeks, County Clerk
  • Tina Adamson, County Administrator

Minutes: Robertson moved, and Lening seconded the motion to approve the September 14, 2021; minutes as presented. Motion carried.

Eads School COVID-19 Update

Due to COVID-19 exposure, we have had to quarantine several students at the elementary and middle school.  The parents/guardians of these students have been notified via email of their status and of the quarantine days.

School has been cancelled at Eads elementary and middle school October 13 and 14.  A final decision about the plan moving forward will be delivered by October 15 via email.

Eads High School is currently on remote-learning status through October 21.
