A series of 322 earthquakes continue to be recorded east of Soda Springs, Idaho. The quakes began the evening of September 2 and have continued daily since then.

George Woodward Miller was born October 19, 1922 in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, to Ramoth George and Edna Jane (Hague) Miller. He passed away on September 10, 2017, at the age of 94, at the Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital in Eads, Colorado.
“It” tells the story of a group of kids in small-town Maine who are hunted by a terrifying psychopath. That psychopath is a bully named Henry Bowers (Nicholas Hamilton) and he’s sadistic. He doesn’t roughhouse, he commits felony assaults. As if that weren’t bad enough, there’s an evil clown who feeds on fear called Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) on the loose. I think Bowers is a better villain, but of course the creepy clown with the sharp teeth and supernatural powers gets all the credit.
The National Weather Service in Pueblo has announced that its radar site, known as KPUX WSR-88D, will be down through the end of September for the repair of a major mechanical component. The Doppler radar site serves southeast Colorado.
An engineering team from the Radar Operations Center (ROC) in Norman, Oklahoma, determined that the bull gear, the primary gear for turning the radar antenna, has failed.
This repair will require 12,000 to 15,000 pounds of equipment and a six-person team from the ROC to restore the radar.
Motorcycle crashes are up 58 percent over the last four years in Colorado. In 2016, motorcyclist fatalities hit an all-time high of 125 deaths in the state. While motorcycles account for just 3 percent of registered vehicles on the road, motorcycle fatalities represent over 20 percent of fatalities.

With Hurricane Irma hitting Florida and Hurricane Harvey striking Texas two weeks ago, disaster response agencies across the nation are continuing massive relief efforts.
Every year more than a few hunters must be rescued from the wilds and high country of Colorado. Hunters get trapped by snowstorms, injured in various types of accidents or simply get lost in the woods.
Hunters must remember that altitude can affect their health and their ability to move easily. And in the Rockies, weather can change quickly with fast-moving storms dumping a couple of feet of snow in just a few hours.
