Inside Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Roaring Judy Hatchery, the staff is working to save and breed 158 unique cutthroat trout rescued from Hayden Creek during last year’s devastating Hayden Pass wildfire, southwest of Cañon City.

Parents of Student Athletes,

This year, Eads High School will be partnering with Weisbrod Memorial Hospital’s Rehabilitation department to offer free movement screening to all the school’s student athletes on school grounds.  As such, the movement screen will no longer be a component of the comprehensive pre-participation physical offered at the Eads medical clinic. 

Colorado Corn staff and board members encourage corn producers and all others interested to join the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee (CCAC) and the Colorado Corn Growers Association (CCGA) for our upcoming district meetings, which will feature updates on the activities of the two organizations, as well as discussions about the next farm bill.

January 8, 1927 – June 21, 2017

Mrs. Simmons went to be with her Lord at her home in Eads while surrounded by her four children.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Praise Community Church, 310 West 7^th Street, Eads.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the Eads Cemetery.
