You’re probably expecting me to trash this movie. And make no mistake, it deserves to get trashed. Its script is horrendous, its editing is a joke, its jokes are painful, and all the metallic whooshing and clanging get old real quick. It’s the same collection of complaints I always have about the “Transformers” movies. But I can’t work up too much ire for this movie for the simple reason that at this point I’m just too numb.

Ellen Modrene Lynn was born on January 8, 1927 in Eads, CO to Clara and James Lynn. She was fifth in line in a family of eight children. She attended twelve years of school in Eads. Ellen met and married the love of her life, Paul Simmons, and they were married April 27, 1945 in Tribune, KS. This union was blessed with four children: Paul Jr., Russel, Joyce, and Cheryl.
The Eads Senior Citizens who came to the monthly lunch thoroughly enjoyed the beef brisket that Rod and Dana Brown donated to the group. Darryl Stolzenberger smoked the brisket for Gail to serve. She also made warm wheat rolls and baked cheese hash brown casserole. Joyce Berry gave us an update on the future Senior Center across the street which is now two vacant gutted brick buildings. She said that Cindy McCloud is working on some new grants.
