St. Patrick’s Day DUI Enforcement Begins Friday

St. Patrick’s Day is typically reserved for green garb, but for impaired drivers, flashing blue and red lights could ultimately be the day’s most memorable colors. To keep Colorado roads safe from impaired drivers during St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and local law enforcement agencies will conduct The Heat Is On DUI enforcement starting Friday, March 10, and ending Monday, March 20. Statewide, 88 law enforcement agencies will participate in the DUI crackdown for alcohol and drugs.

They really enjoyed the food and atmosphere and to all of our surprise the meal was paid for from an anonymous community member! Misprint on Colorado Driver Licenses and Identification Cards

The Division of Motor Vehicles discovered a minor vendor production error which resulted in the listed height to be misprinted on driver licenses and identification cards renewed online between February 20, 2017 and March 6, 2017.

The issue has been resolved and replacement cards are being mailed to impacted customers at no charge no later than March 10, 2017. A letter explaining the error will be included with the card.

As a result, there is no need for customers to visit a driver license office to obtain their replacement cards.
