Funeral services are pending. Mr. Dolph passed away unexpectedly at his home in Eads.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.

Former State Sen. Mike Johnston, now running for Colorado governor, brought his family to Southeast Colorado over the weekend for several events.
One of those was a tour of Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital, and Johnston quickly learned first-hand how important the hospital is to rural communities.
In 2004, Colorado enacted a renewable energy standard (RES), which has informed energy diversification by requiring Colorado utilities to increase their share of electricity from renewable sources. Each investor-owned utility must achieve 30% renewable generation by 2020, and for one utility, a single project recently played a crucial role to keep them on target to meet Colorado’s RES.
Ladies of the Weisbrod Hospital Auxiliary heard several reports at their monthly meeting at the J J’s Ranch House August 8 with more reports on the agenda for the September 12 meeting. Men and women are welcome to join this group for dues of $5.00 to work together to make life more pleasant for residents at Weisbrod.
