Advertising.   Described by " Cortana"  as the activity or profession of producing advertisements for commercial products or services.

As I looked over the whole, back page, full color ad last week, encouraging everyone in Kiowa County to " fuel their careers" by applying for jobs at the up-and -coming Loves Travel Stop, it brought to mind my second job.

Have you ever trusted in someone or something and been disappointed or let down?  The Psalm writer wrote in Psalm 20:7 "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord of God."

Lee and Maxine (Peck) Blooding celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary with family and friends in Fort Collins Saturday afternoon.  The Bloodings organized the Prairie Queen 4-H Club in l948 so there are still some adults in this community who lovingly remember them and the life changing lessons they taught us.
