Dry and hot Tuesday - Kiowa County weather forecast for July 9, 2019

Sunny skies and just a hint of breeze will be the rule across Kiowa County Tuesday.

Very light wind will start out of the west before shifting east later in the day, staying mostly in the 5-10 mile per hour range.

Skies will be sunny, with a few scattered clouds, as temperatures reach the low 90s for most areas. Far western Kiowa County could reach the mid-90s. Overnight, temperatures fall back to around 60.

With dry air shifting into the region, rain is unlikely Tuesday.

Temperatures are expected to fall back to the mid-80s Wednesday, with a slight chance of thunderstorms returning in during the evening.

Elsewhere in Colorado, nearly all mountain snowmelt runoff flooding has ended. Most areas will see the same hot, dry conditions expected for Kiowa County.
