Election notes from the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder
MAKE A PLAN TO VOTE!
Have you returned your ballot to the Kiowa County Clerk’s office? You do not have to wait until Election Day to cast your vote.
We appreciate receiving voted ballots early so our election judges can start processing. The earlier ballots are returned, the earlier unofficial election night results can be released.
All voted ballots and replacement ballots must be returned to the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder’s Office, 1305 Goff Street Eads, CO 81036 by 7:00 p.m. November 5, 2024.
We highly recommend at this time that you:
- Drop your ballot in the 24/7 Drop Box located on the west side of the Courthouse (look for the flag banner) or,
- Drop your ballot off at the Kiowa County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at 1305 Goff Street Eads, CO, 81036
REMEMBER: Postmarks do not count; it is too late to mail!
Your ballot must be in the possession of the Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder by 7:00 P.M. November 5, 2024.
NEED TO REGISTER OR DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT? You may bring identification and register and vote at the Voter Service and Polling Center location and obtain a ballot and vote. You do not have to wait until Election Day to cast your vote!
Check your mail-in ballot status online: If you would like to verify that your ballot was received by our office you can log onto www.govotecolorado.gov or sign up for ballottrax at votekiowacounty.ballottrax.net.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2024 GENERAL ELECTION:
- October 28, 2024, Monday: Last day to submit a voter registration application and still receive a ballot in the mail (Through eight days before the election).
- October 28, 2024, Monday – November 4, 2024, Tuesday: Voters can register to vote, obtain a replacement ballot or drop off their mail in ballots in person at the Kiowa County Clerk & Recorder’s Office 1305 Goff Street Eads, CO 81036
Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder’s Office Election Department will be open on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. for ballot drop off, replacement ballots.
November 5, 2024: ELECTION DAY

BallotTrax is a free service for Kiowa County Voters that allows you to track the status of your ballot online, as well as receive messages by text, phone or email when your ballot has been sent to you and received by our Elections Division. Kiowa County voters may sign up at votekiowacounty.ballottrax.net
