Kiowa County Clerk and Recorder
Current physical and mailing address needs to be correct for Voter Registration.
Colorado elections are mail ballot delivery elections; so ballots will be mailed to all eligible electors:
- June 28, 2016 Primary Election ballots will be mailed to all active eligible electors affiliated with either the Republican or Democratic Party the week of June 6, 2016.
- Unaffiliated voters can affiliate anytime including Election Day to vote in the June 28, 2016 Primary Election.
- November 8, 2016 Presidential General Election will be mailed to all active eligible electors the week of October 17, 2016.
The ballot that is mailed to you is the Official Ballot for you and your location. Please vote that ballot and either mail it back (adequate postage attached), or drop it off at the Clerk's Office.
Ballots are not forwardable so it is very important that your address both physical and mailing is correct.
Your physical address determines what ballot issues you are eligible to vote on. Example: If the city is having a question on the ballot and you live in that city then you are eligible to vote on that question and if you don't live in the city you will not be eligible to vote on that question.
