The Regular Meeting of the Town of Eads Board of Trustees was called to order by Mayor Shields, Monday February 6, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall. Robin Fox took roll call:

• Mayor – Joe D. Shields- Present
• Trustees – Present –Dennis Pearson, Stephanie Sewell, Tuck Liebl, Kathy McCracken, Justin McLoud and Fred Derby
• Absent –
• Town Clerk- Robin Fox
• Assistant Clerk- Mikahael McCracken
• Director of Public Works-Van Brown- Trent Rittgers, and Donte Sierra
• Town Attorney – Lance Clark – Absent
• Audience present- Tabatha Ferris, Roger Saffer, Betsy Barnett, Cindy McLoud, Jeanne Sorensen

Minutes­- Stephanie Sewell moved to approve the minutes as presented. Justin McLoud seconded, motion passed unanimously. 

Approval of Bills – The finance committee reviewed the bills prior to the meeting. Justin McLoud moved to approve payment of the bills. Kathy McCracken seconded, motion passed unanimously. KCDEF yearly donation of $7500.00 Roll Call -Fred -yes, Kathy –yes, Justin- Abstained, Stephanie- Yes, Dennis-Yes, Tuck- Yes.

New Business- Roger Saffer would like to redo his contract for the airport ground and have a 60 year lease the board would like the attorney to look over the contract.

Van Brown- made a public apology for his recent actions. 

New Hire – Michael Romero will start as full time on March 1, 2024.

Kathy McCracken and Dennis Pearson would like to have more extensive reports, on the budget and more reports. 

Executive Session: Board went into executive session to discuss personal issues.

Adjournment- Meeting was adjourned 7:30 P.M.
