AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF EADS, COLORADO AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE TOWN OF EADS MUNICIPAL CODE TO REGULATE CAMPING ON PROPERTY OWNED OR MANAGED BY THE TOWN OF EADS

WHEREAS, the Town of Eads encourages the citizens to utilize the parks and open spaces in the Town of Eads; and 

WHEREAS, property owned and maintained by the Town of Eads is intended for the use of all citizens; and

RESOLUTION OF THE KIOWA COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY DISTRICT

IN OPPOSITION TO THE STATEWIDE PROPOSAL, PROPOSITION HH

WHEREAS, the vast majority of local governments, but not the State of Colorado, levy a property tax to support essential public services and infrastructure; 

WHEREAS, special districts are more dependent on property tax revenue than any other type of local government, as it is often their primary or even sole source of revenue;

VOTE NO on PROPOSITION HH

Proposition HH would increase government revenue at a faster rate than Colorado TABOR allows. 

Proposition HH implies that property taxes will be reduced and that some local governments will be reimbursed from the State for those lost property tax revenues.
