Herman Martin
January 11, 1934 – February 25, 2023
Mr. Martin passed away at his home in Arapahoe surrounded by his family.
Funeral services are pending.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Kiowa County Beef weigh in was held February 18 at the Kiowa County Fairgrounds. A big thank you to the county maintenance crew for cleaning the snow drifts that would have made it impossible to get cattle on the scales.
There were eight head of beef animals, all steers, weighed in by seven youth participants.
One steer was weighed in under the new Family Animal rule. This rule makes it possible for an animal to be shared by the family and used in the event of a member losing an animal.
