Members of the Lamar Police Department responded to a triple shooting at an apartment complex in Lamar just before 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Erica Dawn Arnold at the age of 32. She was born March 4, 1990, to Melissa Jones and Terry Arnold, and was the first granddaughter to both families. As a blue eyed little blonde girl, she loved to dance, sing, and dress up.

Johnny F. Maxwell Johnny Maxwell, known to his family and friends as John was born May 24, 1954, to Prince and Rose (Phinnessee) Maxwell in Tribune, Kansas, and passed away unexpectedly June 21, 2022, at his home in Lamar. John was 68.
