Dear Readers: The 2020-2025 US Dietary Guidelines were unveiled last week by the US Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health and Human Services. These recommendations are based on scientific evidence and advised by a team of nutrition experts, including Registered Dietitians, Medical Doctors, and Professors of Nutrition. The Dietary Guidelines aim to promote health and prevent disease.

Lee E Blooding

October 31, 1926 – December 29, 2020

Lee Blooding, 94, of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away on December 29, 2020. 

He was born October 31, 1926, in Eads, the youngest of four children born to Robert Allen Blooding and Irene Ryder Blooding. 

He was preceded in death by each of his siblings; son, Lonnie; and granddaughter, Courtney Blooding.

Lee graduated from Eads High School in 1944 and married Maxine Peck Blooding in 1946.
