Students, Staff, Parents, and Community Members,
It was only a matter of time before our school was affected by COVID. We have had a staff member test positive today. This affects both the elementary school and the Jr/High Schools. The students and staff members who are to quarantine have been personally contacted. The exposure and test results have also been reported to the Kiowa County and Prowers County Health Departments as per protocol.

The Kiowa County Hospital District and County Board met in regular session on September 22, 2020 at 6:28 p.m. at the Cobblestone Inn Meeting Room and also via Zoom. At this time, individuals can attend the meeting via Zoom or in person.

As of late fall, wildfires are still smoldering under snowfall in Colorado. I am hoping that the cold and snowy weather over the last few days will finally put to bed the 2020 fire season in my state.
