Linda and Larry Watts went to dinner with her parents, Ron and Joyce Howard, of Arapahoe Saturday evening to celebrate their 62^nd Wedding Anniversary. Congratulations to a wonderful couple.

Tuesday morning (February 9), a private citizen spotted a vehicle matching the description of a New Mexico initiated Amber Alert in Raton New Mexico. The citizen confirmed the plate and notified local authorities.  At approximately 6:52 a.m. the Colorado State Patrol was notified that the suspected vehicle was northbound from New Mexico. Colorado State troopers were set up north of the New Mexico state line and observed a 2004 Cadillac matching the description in the Amber Alert and attempted to make contact.
