Often, long-distance caregivers will need access to a parent’s or relative's personal, health, financial, and legal records.
The twelfth Annual Western Landscape Symposium will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018. The Symposium will be held at Pueblo Community College in the Fortino Ballroom and is an all-day event beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing until 3:30 p.m.
Lamar Community College has named Dr. Lisa Schlotterhausen as the next Vice President for Academic and Student Services. Dr. Schlotterhausen, who is currently serving as the Interim Dean of Academic Affairs at Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota, will assume her role at LCC on April 16, 2018.
Kenneth Hooker Kester, known to most as Ken, was born on March 16, 1936 in Lamar to G.E. and Maurine (Hooker) Kester. He passed away in Green Valley, Arizona, February 17, 2018, at the age of 81.
Ken was united in marriage to Virginia Smith May 27, 1956. To this union they had three sons: Dan, Mike, and Ed.

The Kiowa County Commissioner’s Regular meeting was called to order on February 8, 2018 at 09:00 a.m. by Chairman, Richard Scott who opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer. Those in attendance were:
