More Weather Spotter Training Classes set for Southeast Colorado

[This article has been updated to reflect additional training locations.]

The National Weather Service office in Pueblo has announced free SKYWARN weather spotting classes in communities across southeast Colorado, including two additional classes in El Paso and Pueblo counties.

Sessions begin in late March and will continue into May. Most are open to the public and run about 90 minutes.

USDA March Loan Rates Announced

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Commodity Credit Corporation has announced interest rates for March 2018. The Commodity Credit Corporation borrowing rate-based charge for March is 1.875 percent, up from 1.750 percent in February.

The interest rate for crop year commodity loans less than one year disbursed during March is 2.875 percent, up from 2.750 percent in February.
