31st Annual Colorado Hay Directory Now Available

The 2017 Colorado Hay Directory, published by the Colorado Department of Agriculture, is now available.

“This annual publication connects Colorado hay producers with buyers across the state and nation,” said Wendy White, marketing specialist for the Colorado Department of Agriculture. “It is a valuable resource for horse and livestock owners.”

Applications Accepted for Colorado Corn FFA Grant Program

For the fifth year, the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee is accepting applications from Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapters around the state as part of its Colorado Corn FFA Grant Program. 

The deadline to apply is November 15. 

The Colorado Corn FFA Grant Program assists FFA chapters in Colorado on projects that lack funding in their school's budget.

Movie Review - The Hitman’s Bodyguard

This movie didn’t need to work very hard to gain my favor. It’s an R-rated movie starring three actors who are really good at swearing. Ryan Reynolds brought crude humor to new heights last year in “Deadpool.” Salma Hayek always sounds exquisite and exotic when she goes on profanity-laced tirades in English or Spanish. Then there’s Samuel L. Jackson, who is widely considered one of the best cussers in cinematic history, particularly when it comes to a certain word that starts with M and eventually contains an F.
