Kiowa County Commissions Meeting Minutes – November 15
The regular Kiowa County Commissioners meeting was called to order on November 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman Richard Scott. Oswald opened the meeting with prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance:

McLoud moved and Oswald seconded the motion to accept the minutes as presented. All Commissioners voted Affirmative.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife's Brush Office will be closed until further notice due to significant damage to the building.
December 25, a truck went through the front of the building. It appears the driver fell asleep at the wheel however, the official determination has not been released at this time. No one was in the office at the time of the accident and the driver of the truck is okay.
Gardner Statement on Russia Sanctions

New Year’s DUI Enforcement Underway
For most of us, the new year marks a time for reflection and growth — not the beginning of a series of penalties levied because of a DUI arrest. From December 30 through January 3, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), Colorado State Patrol (CSP) and local law enforcement agencies will increase DUI enforcement to arrest impaired drivers during New Year’s celebrations. This year, 107 agencies statewide will participate in the crackdown.
