Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and members of his Cabinet will host a town hall event at Lamar Community College on Wednesday, April 19, from 6:00-7:30pm. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the LCC Wellness Center.
The town hall will feature remarks by Governor Hickenlooper and Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynne, as well as several members of the cabinet.
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper has announced that Crowley County Commissioner Gary Gibson of Onley Springs has been re-appointed to the Colorado Coroners Standards and Training Board.
The Colorado Coroners Standards and Training Board develops a curriculum for a training course for new coroners and approves the qualifications of the instructors who teach the course; approves training providers to certify coroners in basic medical-legal death investigation; and approves training providers and programs used to fulfill the annual in-service training requirement.
Three northeast Colorado towns will host the sixth annual Pedal the Plains, a three-day series of bicycle riding options in mid-September, which highlight the rural way of life.
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper announced that Kersey, Keenesburg, and Brush are the three Colorado towns being featured in this year’s ride. The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg is one of several attractions along the 177-mile route.
“There’s no better way to connect with our rural communities than by taking time out to ride a bike through them,” said Governor Hickenlooper.
