Movie Review - Game Night

“Game Night” sees its characters playing one of those elaborate role-playing games that’s spread out over several miles and involves a full company of actors. I’m weary of movies with this kind of premise because of the inevitable twist: at some point, we’re going to learn that everything that’s been happening is all part of the game. It’s the same thing with movies about con artists, magicians, or people who meddle in dreams.

John B. “Johnnie” Holter, 83, of Las Animas passed away on February 14, 2018 at the Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo, with his brother, George at his bedside. He was born on June 3, 1934 in Bethune, Colorado to John H. & Alice (Stolz) Holter. John’s family moved from Bethune to Kit Carson and then to Eads, where he helped on the family farm with his four brothers and two sisters.

Cooler Wednesday, Fire Danger Returns Friday

A low pressure system moving over Colorado Wednesday will be accompanied by a temperature drop off from Tuesday’s highs.

Highs will be in the 50s Wednesday and Thursday – closer to seasonal norms - with generally dry conditions across the plains while mountain areas may see some snow. Overall, little help for drought conditions can be expected during the coming days.
