The Lamar Community College men's golf team finished in fourth place this past weekend in Region IX play hosted by Eastern Wyoming College.

The Lopes totaled a two-day score of 637, led by Jeremy Minnick and Facundo Boero.

A freshman at Wiley High School and Paw Pals 4-H club member, Wyatt Wollert, competed in the 2017 National Western Stock Show Catch-A-Calf program. This program was open to 4-H members ages twelve through nineteen.

A strong spring snow storm continues to blanket southeast Colorado in wet snow Saturday. A winter storm warning is currently in effect across the area, and will continued until Sunday afternoon for counties along the Colorado-Kansas border.
