Kiowa County Office Hours for Congressman Buck

The office of Congressman Ken Buck will host office hours for constituents Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Eads.

A staff representative will be available to listen to constituent concerns and to serve as a resource for those attempting to navigate federal programs and bureaucratic red tape. Constituents seeking assistance are encouraged to bring any relevant documentation.

Gardner, Bennet Announce Open House Events

Colorado Senator Cory Gardner

Senators Cory Gardner (R-CO) and Michael Bennet (D-CO) announced Gardner's Colorado offices will host Open House events for Coloradans to learn more about the Colorado Capital Conference in Washington. Senators Gardner and Bennet host the Colorado Capital Conference, in partnership with Colorado Mesa University and University of Colorado, to provide an opportunity for Coloradans to travel to Washington, D.C. and hear from elected officials, journalists, and academics to gain a better understanding of how our government operates.

Kiowa County Transportation Committee Forming

The Kiowa County Commissioners are forming a Transportation Advisory Committee that will include the Commissioners, the Road & Bridge Foremen and two citizen members from each district.

This Committee will assist in the planning, development and support for all aspects of the County road & bridge system, State and Federal Highway issues, and rail transportation.  It will help research the Counties transportation issues and advise the Board of Commissioners as to actions or solutions that will benefit Kiowa County.
