This year, the Cheyenne County 4-H Council is excited to host the 10th annual Celebrity Pig Show at the Cheyenne County Tumbleweed Fair. Each year, the community comes together to generously donate money in support of a local community member. With their valued partnership, Nutrien Ag Solutions proudly sponsors the awards for the show each year.

To date, the event has raised more than $22,000 for individuals in the community. The nominations and participant never disappoint. A total of 96 different participants has taken part in the show over the years, each bringing their own special style and energy to the show.

Scott Oswald holds the record for the most appearances, having shown in eight of the nine previous events. Close behind is Craig Smith, who has participated in seven of the nine shows. Matt Roberts, Craig Smith, and Derek Wendt have each placed in the top three on three separate occasions.

Year after year, the Celebrity Pig Show continues to be a fun, meaningful tradition that brings the community together. The Cheyenne County 4-H Council is currently working to select this year’s recipient.
