East End Events - December 3, 2019
Can you believe December is here already and Christmas will be here before we know it? I can blame the fast passing of time on old age - what's your excuse?
My brother Doug would have been 71 years old today, December 1. Doesn't seem possible he's been gone for 33 years this coming January 2020.
We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner and visiting at the home of my sister, Jerene, and her husband, Ian DeBono. Other guests were Chad DeBono of Lamar and Jason, Gina, Dexter and Jett Dechant of Kit Carson.
Larry and Judy Tuttle spent Thanksgiving weekend with their daughter, Rhonda Koehn, husband, Mike, and daughter, Emily. We are glad Judy is out of the hospital and was able to spend the time with her family.
Susan Greenfield spent Thanksgiving weekend with her dad, Norman, brother, Jon and wife Sonya of Sterling, and her, sister, Sami, and husband, John, of Bennett.
Kelvin, Amy and Alex Schmidt traveled to Oklahoma over the Thanksgiving break to visit family and friends.
Thanksgiving dinner guests of Cheri Hopkins were her daughter, Christy, from Tribune, Kansas, and her son, Evan, wife Jen and their children of Tribune.
Garold and Zelpha Deines hosted Thanksgiving dinner for their children, Joel, Lisa and Gwyn, and good friend, Dran Mozieck.
Vernie and Joann Harris' son, Tim, daughter, Tammy, and granddaughter, Trista, and children joined them for Thanksgiving dinner at their home in Sheridan Lake Thursday.
Denis and Theresa Weber had a houseful of family who came to celebrate Thanksgiving with them. All of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, except two grandsons, were able to be here with them. All of them stayed through the weekend and helped Theresa celebrate her 85th birthday at a surprise party at the KA Hall in Sheridan Lake Saturday afternoon. Many friends and other family members came to celebrate with her at the party. Happy 85th Theresa!!
Chris and Jennifer Stum hosted Thanksgiving dinner for the Stum clan at the Towner Community Hall Thursday. Lots of good visiting and food!
Kirbi and Shay Stum hosted a birthday party Sunday at the Towner Community Hall for their youngest daughter, Catlyn, who turned 1 year old. Lots of family and friends came to help her celebrate. Happy birthday Catlyn.
Have a great week!!
