Nick Johnson, a former newsman and advertising executive from Houston, TX has signed an option to purchase the Kiowa County Press and has assumed the duties of Editor and publisher.

January 7 1916

At the election, Tues. was voted to incorporate the town of Eads. The proposition carried by a majority  vote of 60. The votes against were by voters who considered ever point, what every good citizen should do, and viewed the matter in this way.
