California governor calls for gun law modeled after Texas abortion ban

In response to a Supreme Court decision on Texas’ near-abortion ban Friday, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that he would push for new legislation modeled after the Texas law to allow Californians to sue individuals who manufacture or sell assault weapons or ghost guns.
