Updated - Kiowa County government offices schedule - April 30, 2020
- Kiowa County Courthouse, Public Health and Social Services Offices are re-opening to the public beginning May 4, 2020. The Courthouse will have limited hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mon– Fri Used West Courthouse Entrance Must wear mask or face covering.

USDA designates Prowers County as a primary natural disaster area
Losses due to drought have lead Prowers County to be designated a natural diaster area by the USDA.
Kiowa County Commissioners meeting minutes - April 9, 2020
The Kiowa County Commissioners regular meeting was called to order on April 9, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman, Richard Scott. Scott opened the meeting with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Those in attendance were:
- Richard Scott, Chairman Donald Oswald, Commissioner
- Howard "Butch" Robertson, Commissioner
- Delisa Weeks, County Clerk
- Tina Adamson, County Administrator
Robertson moved and Oswald seconded the motion to approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried.
