Polis administration criticized for asking newspapers to unpublish story
An official in Governor Polis' administration asked two Colorado newspapers - including the Kiowa County Press - remove an article, claiming the source was not reputable but did not point out any errors.

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TESTING (LAT) AS REQUIRED BY C.R.S. 1-7-509 (2) (b) ON THE VOTING EQUIPMENT WILL BE HELD AT THE KIOWA COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE OCTOBER 11, 2019 AT 10:00 A.M.
TEST BALLOTS WILL BE VOTED TO SEE THAT THE VOTING EQUIPMENT IS RECORDED PROPERLY.
WE ENCOURAGE CANDIDATES AND PARTY CHAIRS TO ATTEND THE LAT. ANYONE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING OR OBSERVING IS WELCOME TO COME.

Gilbert Daniel Brown was born April 29, 1937, in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Kenneth R. and Margaret Page Brown. Gilbert was the second born of what would be seven sons born to Kenneth and Margaret.

Damon Harlow Berry was born May 24, 1945, near Eads to Lloyd Roland Berry and Belva Alyce McDaniel Berry. Damon grew up on a working farm and ranch near Eads where he spent a great deal of time with his brother, Cardon, who was a few years older. Together they learned to love the life of farming and raising horses and cattle.
