It’s fall, and time once again for the Chipper Invitational Golf Tournament here in the valley. You remember Chipper, Doc’s imaginary squirrel? The one who was squirrel-napped?
Doc named the annual golf tournament to raise money for coats for kids who need them after good ‘ol Chipper, since the golf tournament itself was just about as genuine as the squirrel.
Statewide Conditions
Colorado drought conditions were wholly unchanged from the previous week as improvements in the western part of the state halted. While chances of an El Niño continue to increase, the weather pattern is not expected to bring significant relief.

Lori LeAnn Shalberg was born October 11, 1967, in Eads, Colorado, to Merle and Carol Shalberg. She passed away in Eads October 21, 2018, due to a long battle with cancer.
Eldred "Lee" Bouldin
November 2, 1955 - October 18, 2018
Eldred Lee Bouldin was born November 2, 1955, to Virgil Clyde Bouldin and Pearl Faye Owens Bouldin in Livingston, Montana. Lee was the seventh of eight children. Lee passed away October 18, 2018, in Pueblo, Colorado at the age of 62.
Choose activities that you enjoy and can do regularly. Fitting activity into a daily routine can be easy — such as taking a brisk 10-minute walk to and from the parking lot, bus stop, or subway station. Or, join an exercise class. Keep it interesting by trying something different on alternate days. Every little bit adds up and doing something is better than doing nothing.
