Snooze Buttons. One of my favorite things in life. I always set the alarm on my phone for 30 minutes before I actually want to get up. I gave up on alarm clocks long ago. That sounds much longer than going back to sleep for “another 30 minutes”. I am a master at cheating the clock.

Lamar Community College has expanded its upcoming schedule and will be offering several exciting new courses during the summer semester.
“Higher education is about exploration, creativity, and continuing to grow as individuals,” commented Dr. Annessa C. Stagner, Dean of Academic Services at LCC. “We’ve redesigned our summer offerings with this in mind, meeting the needs of both those who are seeking degrees and those who wish to take courses for individual development.”
The Regular Meeting was called to order on March 15, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. by Chairman of the Board Richard Scott. Scott opened the meeting with a prayer and Pledge of Allegiance. Those attending:

National Window Safety Week is designed to heighten the awareness of what can be done to help keep families safe from the risk of accidental falls or injuries in the home. Falls from a window are extremely dangerous, especially for children, and can cause serious injuries or death. While National Window Safety Week is observed annually, safety education occurs throughout the year.
